Membership Options in 2012

 

All BMFA Members recognize the importance of conserving historic places such as the Bullard Memorial Farm. Each membership category offers different responsibilities and privileges that are commensurate with the level of commitment a member is willing to make to the BMFA. The categories, membership fees, related responsibilities, and privileges are as follows:

BRONZE MEMBERSHIP:  No sponsorship required                 Cost: $30 Individual $55 Family

Privileges of Bronze members include receiving newsletters, being able to participate on BMFA committees and at Association meetings, both without voting privileges. Bronze members also receive a 10% discount at all BMFA educational events.  


SILVER MEMBERSHIP:
Sponsorship required (see below)
      Cost: $50 Individual $75 Family  

Privileges of Silver members include being able to vote at BMFA meetings, serving on the BMFA committees, and being able to serve on the BMFA Board of Directors. Silver members would also receive newsletters, receive a 10% discount at all BMFA educational events, and be able to reserve the use of the Bullard Farm property, including use of the buildings, for visitation only during daylight hours.


GOLD MEMBERSHIP:
Sponsorship required (see below)
        Cost: $100 Individual $150 Family

Privileges of Gold members include receiving newsletters, being able to participate on BMFA committees and at Association meetings, with voting privileges, and being able to serve on the BMFA Board of Directors. Gold members would also receive a 10% discount at all BMFA educational events, and be able to reserve the use of the entire Bullard Farm property for daylight and overnight visits.

The application for membership for Silver and Gold status must include two sponsors who can vouch for the applicant’s dedication and commitment to the educational, preservation, and conservation goals of the BMFA. Each new applicant for membership for Silver or Gold status must be approved by a simple majority vote of a quorum of existing eligible voting members at a formally called Association meeting.

 

Note: All new Silver and Gold memberships to the BMFA require completion of an Orientation Program to be conducted by the House and Grounds Committees, and a one year probationary period prior to being eligible to reserve the use of the Bullard Farm for daylight and/or overnight privileges. All individual membership applicants must be 22 years old to reserve the Bullard Memorial Farm.
