Bullard Memorial Farm Association

On July 24th, WALTER BUCKINGHAM , a historical

troubadour
and story teller, performed at the Bullard Farm.

"The Bullard Memorial Farm was the perfect

setting for young and old to gather for a

performance rarely seen in our day.

Walter Buckingham, a Berklee trained modern-

day bard, created an atmosphere reminiscent of

18th century New England.

Entertaining the group with sing-a-longs, epic

tales and vintage harmonies that filled the air, he was captivating

and expressive.

He shared his love of the old, his 1880’s Washburn parlor guitar,

and with the new, having been inspired by the Beatles when he was

a child.

His message to the children

was clear, “Listen to your grandparents'

stories,” he said.  “It’s good to know the

history and to remember it.”

A truly memorable afternoon at Bullard Memorial Farm was

enjoyed by all."
