Meet the BMFA caretakers, Timothy and Bridgett Sanders.
Timothy has a degree in Historic Preservation and has worked on many restorations of historical structures. In 2004, he received the HACG Historic Preservation Award for museum-quality total restoration of a 1753 log home. He has also done consultation, maintenance, and repair for restoration of historic structures. He has provided living history demonstrations and historical interpretation. In his spare time, Timothy enjoys painting and woodworking.
Bridgett has her undergraduate and master of education - counseling degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She has worked in the counseling field for many years and is looking forward to a change of pace working at the farm. In her down time she enjoys knitting. She plans to work with Timothy, sharing the role of caretaker. They both have experience with gardening and lawn maintenance.
